Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils are posting love messages on their joint Instagram account, so it looks like they have rekindled their relationship.
In February, Svitolina announced that she and Monfils were taking separate paths after about two years of dating. A month later, the tennis players’ social media activity suggests that they are back together. I remember checking their G.E.M.S. Life Instagram account at the moment of the breakup and it was not available. Now the former(?) couple is posting love messages in their stories.
On March 31st they shared the following quotes, accompanied by red hearts and two pieces of a puzzle:
When love is not madness, it is not love.
You and me. Love. Forever.
Our love is forever.
They also showed a drawing of themselves together, which was probably sent to them by a fan.
Moreover, a few days ago, Svitolina posted a photo from the window of her Miami hotel, and Monfils commented:

Well I doubt they’ll win slam now, they should really keep their love life little less private! These journeymen couple should really focus on their slam quests!

A lot of successful players have always kept their private life to a minimum exposure, so people wont be able to bash on them if they broke up!
Ric, Elina and Gael took that open approach from the beginning. They feel comfortable exposing their relationship. I guess they don’t regret sharing their love life with the world, we all have different personalities.
Please give them respect. Let them live their lives . who are we to judge.
