German world No.145 Tatjana Maria gave birth to her second child on April 2. The baby girl is called Cecilia.
The WTA player announced the news on social media and we can see the happy parents smiling next to their newborn in the hospital.

Tatjana kept this pregnancy a secret and for a good reason. In early April 2020, she announced that she was pregnant with her second child. When we saw her play the 2020 US Open, we concluded that she must have had a miscarriage. It turns out that our assumption was correct. Fortunately, Tatjana apparently got pregnant very soon after the miscarriage and now she’s given birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Congratulations to Tatjana, her husband Charles, and Cecilia’s older sister Charlotte who is now already 7 years old.
