As the legendary story about Richard Williams taking his two daughters from ghetto to tennis superstardom hits theaters, Venus Williams‘ clothing brand EleVen is releasing the special King Richard collection.

Serena and Venus Williams made an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of Warner Bros.’ King Richard, which gives us a closer look into Richard’s determination and unparalleled vision to lead his girls to the top of the world. Complementing this movie based on true events, Venus revisited the fashion of the period that shaped her life and created a collection that gives a modern, yet nostalgic edge to the memorable ’80s style that she and her dad wore at the time.

The above promotional photo shows Venus in the EleVen King Richard Polo and EleVen King Richard Flutter Skirt. As you can see in the short video below, it is a reworked outfit that she wore as a little girl dreaming of becoming a tennis champion. The diagonal black and white stripes are also featured in the EleVen King Richard Dress.

The red EleVen King Richard Midi Tank and EleVen King Richard Warm Up Jacket are inspired by the red shorts that Richard often wore at practice.
