Danielle Collins is enjoying the time of her life this January in Melbourne, as she’s reached the final of the 2022 Australian Open, where she’ll face world No.1 and home favorite Ashleigh Barty. As the 28-year-old Collins was dominating Iga Swiatek in Thursday’s semifinals, her boyfriend Thomas Couch was supporting her from the stands.

Who is Thomas Couch?
Thomas Couch is a professional athlete himself. The 33-year-old is a former Australian rules football player. The Australian is the son of Brownlow Medal winner Paul Couch.

As we can read in Wikipedia, Tom played for the North Launceston (TSL) team, as well as for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). However, he was delisted at the end of the 2013 season.
Danielle and Tom first met at the Acapulco Open in Mexico in early 2019, when Tom was working as a fitness trainer for several Australian tennis players, including Alex de Minaur and Jordan Thompson. That same year Tom also started working with Danielle and shortly afterwards they started dating.
After beating Alize Cornet in the 2022 Australian Open quarterfinals, Collins thanked her boyfriend in the on-court interview:
