Wimbledon: Katie Boulter‘s relationship with fellow tennis player Alex de Minaur is now a hot topic as she’s credited her boyfriend for much of her success, now taken a step further with her first ever appearance in the third round of a Grand Slam.
Great Britain’s Boulter upset last year’s finalist Karolina Pliskova in three sets in the second round of Wimbledon on Thursday. Earlier, she talked about her Australian boyfriend’s important role in her rise:
He’s someone that I have a lot of admiration for on and off the tennis court. He is the epitome of a fighter and someone that goes out and gives their all every single day. That’s what I aspire to be like. I feel like to have that around me and my team, it really helps me because I can push myself. He helps me do that. I’m a very lucky girl.
