Wimbledon: Katie Boulter‘s relationship with fellow tennis player Alex de Minaur is now a hot topic as she’s credited her boyfriend for much of her success, now taken a step further with her first ever appearance in the third round of a Grand Slam.
Great Britain’s Boulter upset last year’s finalist Karolina Pliskova in three sets in the second round of Wimbledon on Thursday. Earlier, she talked about her Australian boyfriend’s important role in her rise:
He’s someone that I have a lot of admiration for on and off the tennis court. He is the epitome of a fighter and someone that goes out and gives their all every single day. That’s what I aspire to be like. I feel like to have that around me and my team, it really helps me because I can push myself. He helps me do that. I’m a very lucky girl.
According to our presumption, Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur have been dating for over two years now. We learned about their relationship in March 2021, when they posted some selfies together on Instagram.
Currently ranked No.118, Katie Boulter has risen over 100 places in the past year. Alex de Minaur is positioned No.27 in the ATP rankings, while his career-high is No.15.
De Minaur awaits his second-round Wimbledon match against Jack Draper on Court One on Thursday, while Boulter will face France’s Harmony Tan, the Serena Williams conqueror, after a day of rest.
