A year and a half after announcing their engagement, British No. 2 Katie Boulter and Australian world No. 5 Alex de Minaur have secretly tied the knot in a picturesque Leicestershire village on the final day of Wimbledon.

Boulter and De Minaur first went public with their relationship in March 2021, celebrating their one-year anniversary, meaning they have now been together for more than six years. They chose to exchange vows close to the place where the bride grew up and where her parents still live, keeping the ceremony intimate and deeply personal.
The wedding took place before a small gathering of close family members at the same time as the Wimbledon men’s final between defending champion Jannik Sinner of Italy and Germany’s Alexander Zverev. Both Boulter and De Minaur competed at this year’s Championships, although neither made a deep run. Boulter exited in the opening round of both singles and doubles, while de Minaur reached the fourth round.
According to reports, the couple deliberately opted for a low-key, private ceremony attended only by immediate family. They arrived together at the church in a black Porsche Carrera and were married by a female vicar before celebrating with loved ones at a nearby pub.
The newlyweds are expected to continue the celebrations later this week with a larger wedding party at a secret location somewhere in Europe, where extended family, friends, and fellow tennis players from around the world are set to join them. (source: Daily Mail)
