The Cincinnati Open is set to offer its biggest fan experience yet in 2026, introducing additional tournament days and a brand-new Kroger Indoor Fan Zone as part of its continued evolution following last year’s $260 million campus transformation.

Running from August 8-23, the tournament will span more than two weeks, giving fans extra opportunities to watch the world’s best players practice and compete while enjoying an expanded lineup of entertainment, dining and interactive experiences across the grounds.
“The Cincinnati Open continues to evolve, and so do the expectations of our fans,” said Bob Moran, Tournament Director at the Cincinnati Open. “We’re always looking for thoughtful ways to enhance the tournament, whether that’s creating new spaces to gather, offering more opportunities to interact with the players or making it easier for fans to enjoy everything happening across the campus.”
Must-Attend Weekends
Community Weekend
The additional days begin with Community Weekend on August 8-9, before the first official matches take place.
Saturday’s program includes Kids Day, featuring family activities and on-court experiences, followed by Red Bull BassLine, a fast-paced exhibition where players compete in knockout tiebreaks with a live DJ providing the soundtrack.
On Sunday, fans can take part in the inaugural Cincinnati Open 5K fun run, meet players during autograph sessions and appearances, enjoy wheelchair tennis and adaptive tennis events, and watch the world’s top stars practice ahead of the tournament.
Finals Weekend
The tournament will conclude with an enhanced Finals Weekend, presented by Credit One Bank, on August 22-23. The final 10 matches of the event, including both singles semifinals and four title matches, will be spread across the two days, with the men’s and women’s singles finals both taking place on Sunday, August 23.
Away from the courts, fans can enjoy live performances by The Voice Season 1 champion Javier Colon and American Idol contestant Michael Williams, along with exclusive Finals Weekend merchandise and additional entertainment across the tournament grounds.
New indoor fan hub debuts in 2026
Among the headline additions is the Kroger Indoor Fan Zone, an air-conditioned entertainment space designed to keep fans engaged throughout the day.
The venue will host player Q&A sessions, live music, special guest appearances and both the men’s and women’s singles draw ceremonies on August 12. Visitors will also find an indoor practice court featuring demonstrations and clinics, a Wilson racquet-stringing viewing area and a gaming lounge.
The indoor venue provides a comfortable gathering space while creating even more opportunities for fans to interact with players away from the match courts.
More campus highlights
The tournament’s expanded footprint offers plenty to explore between matches, including the Prasco Kids Zone, the shaded Commons area featuring live music and local restaurants, and the Pavilion’s giant video screen broadcasting on-court action throughout the day.
Fans will also be able to browse the expanded 18,000-square-foot Cincinnati Open Shop, which offers official tournament merchandise alongside premium brands including Peter Millar and Lululemon.
Cincinnati Open mobile app
An upgraded Cincinnati Open mobile app will help visitors make the most of their day with a real-time “Happening Now” feed and an interactive map that makes navigating the campus easier.
With a longer schedule and a host of new attractions centered around the debut of the Indoor Fan Zone, the 2026 Cincinnati Open is aiming to deliver a more immersive experience than ever before.
