There is so much confusing information online about Jelena Ostapenko’s boyfriend. Some articles state that her boyfriend is Arturs Karasausks, even claiming that he will soon become her husband, while there is also one article that says her boyfriend is Karasausks while they’re showing a photo of ATP player Stan Wawrinka(?!). Let’s try to clarify the information, even though we don’t have many details about the Latvian’s love life.
Karasausks is now Ostapenko’s ex-boyfriend?
It is certain that Ostapenko was in a long-term relationship with Latvian soccer player Arturs Karasausks. In April 2020, they made their love match Instagram official. However, even though online media sources continue to claim that Ostapenko’s boyfriend is Karasausks, it seems pretty clear that they have broken up. The photo that made their relationship public is long gone from Instagram.
A new love story is unfolding?
The 2017 French Open champion Ostapenko has since introduced a new man to her social media followers. In early June this year, the tennis star posted a photo from a leisurely stroll in a park in Riga, Latvia, wherein she was seen in the arms of a muscular man with dominant tattoos. Notably, they both sported matching black-and-white Jordans. While we have no information about the guy, as his Instagram profile remains private, it becomes rather evident that he is not Arturs Karasausks. All we can see is that his Instagram bio reads: “All or nothing.”

This newfound figure in Ostapenko’s life, in all likelihood her current boyfriend, left a red heart emoji in the comments section, to which Alona reciprocated with a series of affectionate emojis. Following that June post, there have been no further public appearances of the rumored couple.
During the ongoing US Open, Ostapenko has not only achieved her personal best result in New York by advancing to the quarterfinals but has also caused a significant upset that reshaped the WTA landscape. Her victory over the top seed, Iga Swiatek, not only eliminated the Pole from contention but also led to her surrendering the No.1 ranking, allowing Belarusian player Aryna Sabalenka to book an ascend to that coveted position.
