In a series of images posted on her profile, Danilovic expressed her deepest affection, accompanying the visuals with a touching message, “You deserve it all! Happy birthday my love.” Among these captures was a tender moment shared on the soccer field, where Danilovic is seen planting a loving kiss on Oblak’s forehead.

Speculation about the romantic involvement between Oblak and Danilovic initially emerged when the Slovenian footballer was seen supporting the Serbian tennis star during her triumph over Kateryna Baindl in the first round of Roland Garros last year.

When Danilovic reached the third round at the 2023 French Open, her career-best performance at a Grand Slam, she praised the support of her boyfriend, who plays as a goalkeeper for La Liga club Atletico Madrid:

When you feel good, everything becomes more beautiful, easier, and better. That’s how it is when you feel fulfilled in every aspect. But primarily, it takes hours and hours on the court, in the gyms, and fitness centers. Definitely, when things are good off the court, maybe it can be better on the court, let’s say it that way.

The timing of Oblak’s birthday, falling on January 7, holds additional significance for Danilovic. Notably, this date carries immense cultural importance in Serbia, marking the Orthodox Christian celebration of Christmas based on the Julian calendar.

The 22-year-old Danilovic, currently ranked No.121 on the WTA Tour, next plays the Australian Open qualifying. Her season started at the United Cup, where she helped Serbian team reach the quarterfinals.
