Just days after Serbian tennis star Olga Danilovic announced her engagement to Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, reports have emerged that the couple are expecting their first child.
Now we know why Danilovic has not competed since early February, when she played the Transylvania Open in Romania. The 25-year-old is pregnant and due to give birth in September. While Danilovic has yet to publicly address the pregnancy on social media, the information has been widely reported in Serbia.
The relationship between Danilovic, one of Serbia’s leading tennis players and the daughter of basketball legend Predrag Danilovic, and Slovenian soccer player Oblak, widely regarded as one of the world’s best goalkeepers, began in the spring of 2023 and was made public during that year’s Roland Garros.
