Three years after first confirming their relationship publicly, Serbian WTA star Olga Danilovic and Slovenian soccer player Jan Oblak have shared engagement news.

The couple announced the moment with an Instagram selfie, embracing each other, with Danilovic discreetly showing her engagement ring. Dressed in coordinated all-white outfits at a seaside location, the pair celebrated their milestone in a relaxed, intimate setting. Danilovic captioned the post simply: “Luckiest,” accompanied by a white heart emoji that matched the tone and aesthetic of the photos.

Their relationship first drew public attention when Oblak, the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper, was seen supporting Danilovic during her first-round victory over Kateryna Baindl at Roland Garros 2023. The warm embrace they shared afterward quickly sparked speculation that the two were more than friends. Not long after, Danilovic confirmed the relationship in Serbian media, saying: “He means a lot to me.”

Danilovic has played just three tournaments this season, and her ranking has plummeted 46 places in the latest update. The Serbian, currently ranked No. 197, last competed in early February at the Transylvania Open in Romania, where she lost in the second round to Maja Chwalinska, who has recently made headlines by going all the way to the French Open final as a qualifier.
