Nike has unveiled a new collection just in time for the Grand Slam in New York. In a photoshoot held earlier this year at Indian Wells, Aryna Sabalenka showcased the sleek new Nike Women’s Fall Slam Dress, which she’ll be wearing at the 2024 US Open.

The Nike New York women’s tennis collection highlights top-performance pieces designed for ultimate comfort, featuring breathable mesh panels and Dri-FIT ADV technology, which blends moisture-wicking fabric with a stretchy feel. The collection offers a range of vibrant color combinations, including olive, pink, orange, purple, and fuchsia.
Sabalenka’s Nike Fall Slam Dress features a striking contrast color mesh panel on the back, paired with Dri-FIT ADV jacquard fabric on the front, ensuring both style and performance. The contrast binding at the neckline and armholes accentuates the sporty silhouette. The high neckline ensures coverage in set position.
Available in a variety of color combinations, two-time Australian Open champion Sabalenka has chosen the bold hot fuchsia option, complete with an aster pink mesh inset and a white Swoosh at the center chest. Other color choices include vintage green with purple pulse and white, purple pulse with black, and aster pink with hot fuchsia and black.
Sabalenka remains loyal to her Nike Zoom NXT tennis shoes, despite their discontinuation. Eventually, she’ll need to transition to a new model. With her Wilson Blade 98 18×20 v9 in hand—the racquet she used to secure her recent victory at the Cincinnati Open—she remains steadfast in her winning choices.
Nike has introduced a selection of its top-selling tennis shoes in fresh new hues, including models like the Vapor Pro 2, GP Challenge 1, Zoom Vapor 11, and more. These updated designs feature graphics that pay homage to the iconic Grand Slam in Flushing Meadows, with unique details like an “NYC” imprint on the lace keeper.

What a tired, boring design. Hopefully Osaka has something more fun and interesting.
Karo, while the dress is nice for an average tennis player, I agree that Nike could have pushed the envelope a bit more for their biggest stars at the US Open, which is known for its fashion-forward vibe.
