Ahead of her second-round match against Maya Joint—her maiden appearance at this stage of Wimbledon—Eala offered a close-up of her white Nike visor, which features an inspirational quote in Filipino: “Kapag lumago, hindi na hihinto.” The phrase translates to “Once it grows, it cannot be stopped.” It beautifully celebrates Eala being seeded No. 29 at Wimbledon, the first Filipina ever to earn a Grand Slam singles seeding.
