The 2026 Mubadala DC Open has announced its preliminary main-draw entry list, with a stacked WTA field set to compete at the combined ATP/WTA 500 event at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park, Washington, D.C. from July 25 to August 2.

Seven of the WTA Top 20 are scheduled to compete, headlined by world No. 8 Elina Svitolina, who has already captured two titles this season. The group also includes Madrid champion Marta Kostyuk, four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, Roland Garros semifinalist Diana Shnaider, two-time Grand Slam finalist Jasmine Paolini, rising star Iva Jovic, and world No. 20 Anna Kalinskaya. Several of those Top 20 players will be making their Washington debuts this summer.
The field is further strengthened by seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams, 2025 Australian Open champion Madison Keys, defending champion Leylah Fernandez, Strasbourg champion Emma Navarro, 2022 Washington champion Liudmila Samsonova, and rising Filipina star Alexandra Eala.
“I’m excited to be back in Washington for the Mubadala DC Open,” Osaka said. “I remember the atmosphere around the tournament being really fun last year, and it’s always nice to play in front of fans who are excited to watch tennis. I’m looking forward to being back on court and competing again this summer in DC.”
Tournament chairman Mark Ein highlighted the strength of the player field, noting that the event continues to establish itself as one of the premier stops on both tours.
“The strength of this year’s player field speaks to what the Mubadala DC Open has become on the global tennis calendar,” Ein said. “Bringing together five of the Top 10 and 15 of the world’s Top 20 players, established champions, fan favorites and the next generation of stars creates an incredible experience for everyone who comes to Washington.”
The ATP field is equally impressive, featuring defending champion Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, Daniil Medvedev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Frances Tiafoe, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Lorenzo Musetti, Jakub Mensik, Tommy Paul, Kei Nishikori, and several other top players.
The Mubadala DC Open remains the only combined ATP and WTA 500-level tournament on the calendar and is expected to attract another sellout crowd following record demand in recent years.
