The tennis world cannot stop talking about the spectacular wedding of Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter. While the newlyweds legally tied the knot during an intimate first leg in Great Britain, about ten days later they flew their closest friends and family out to Tuscany for a breathtaking second leg of celebrations. Turning heads on the star-studded guest list was another of tennis’s favorite cross-continental couples: Britain’s Katie Swan and Australia’s Alex Bolt.

The 27-year-old Swan recently shared photos from the luxurious Italian celebration. For the formal events, the WTA player stunned in a fitted, light-blue sleeveless turtleneck gown, complemented by her boyfriend in a sharp black suit and white shirt. The couple also nailed effortless daytime style, with Swan wearing a delicate floral-print midi dress and Bolt matching the warm Tuscan aesthetic in a relaxed beige suit.
Interestingly, Swan and Bolt don’t just share identical first names with the newlyweds, as they also share the exact same international dynamic. De Minaur is Australian and Boulter is British, mirroring the exact setup of Bolt (from South Australia) and Swan (from Bristol).
Their uncanny connection to De Minaur and Boulter carried over to the court in November 2025, when Bolt captured the ATP Challenger title in Brisbane on the exact same day that Swan claimed the ITF W50 Brisbane crown. This joint victory echoed the famous simultaneous title runs of their newlywed friends, who pulled off the same feat twice in 2024, first when De Minaur won Acapulco and Boulter won San Diego in March on the same weekend, and again when they swept the ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Nottingham trophies on the very same day in June.
Swan and Bolt officially began dating in early 2024. Later that year, Swan’s ongoing back issues reach a breaking point and left her questioning her future in the sport. Ready to retire at a young age, she chose to hit the road as a supportive partner, traveling the global tour alongside Bolt for four months.
Watching Bolt compete and experiencing the tour from a different perspective completely reignited Swan’s passion for the game. Bolt’s unwavering support during her darkest professional moments ultimately saved her career.
