Maria Timofeeva looked stunning in a romantic light-yellow gown as she attended fellow tennis player Ekaterina Kazionova’s wedding in Spain alongside her boyfriend, Nils Mahlstedt.

The world No. 98 chose a striking one-shoulder dress with a draped back for the celebration at Casa Gumira, while her long blonde hair was styled in a sleek half-up ponytail with face-framing strands. Timofeeva looked divine in her elegant wedding guest ensemble, but it was the romantic photos with her boyfriend that really caught our attention.

Timofeeva has been publicly linked to Mahlstedt for at least a year. In August 2025, she shared a photo with him from the Taste of Tennis event in New York, and the couple were together again at Taste of Tennis in March 2026 (Miami and Indian Wells). Their latest appearance at Kazionova’s wedding gives another glimpse into the relationship.
Mahlstedt is based in Germany and works in investment banking at Bank of America in Frankfurt, according to his public professional profile.

Timofeeva clearly enjoyed the celebration, describing the wedding as a magical event and sharing her happiness for the newlyweds: “Thank you for making us a part of your special day and for organising such a magical event. I can’t put into words how happy I’m for both of you, and seeing how your love journey took you to this new chapter of your lives is something truly incredible.”
Her emotional reaction is hardly surprising, given that Kazionova is a close friend. The two tennis players have also worked together on their Kiss My Ace tennis vlog, which Timofeeva launched with Kazionova around the 2023 US Open.

Timofeeva, who was born in Moscow, represented Russia earlier in her career before switching to represent Uzbekistan in October 2025. She is best known for winning the 2023 Budapest Grand Prix as a lucky loser on her WTA main-draw debut and also for reaching the fourth round of the 2024 Australian Open as a qualifier in her main-draw Grand Slam debut.
Back on court, Timofeeva is now in Cincinnati, where she is preparing for a first-round clash with Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic.
