JJ was up 6-4 on the tiebreak of the third set before losing 8-6, losing four straight points. Can you say “Choke”.
The Kung Fu Master still has work to do with his Grasshopper. 😛
The fabric of her dress looked to be of a lesser quality.
wow…Jeca always seems to lose right after Ana Ivanovic! It is an ongoing trend…after 2 match points what is there left to say…
JJ, hope you make a successful run after the US as you did last year!
her grandma died last night if you didnt know
If my grandmother would have died personally I would have pulled out.
Yaroslava’s game is so beautiful, which makes me loving watch her play. Been following her since she breadstick Maria in the first set at the French Open. Jelena suffered the same fate today, only difference is that she didn’t win the match. Shame, she had two match points.
Now would you look at the top half of the draw, Jelena and Ana’s section now look like an International tournament. One of those girls are gonna have their first ever quarterfinal.
Anyway, Maria won again today. 6-2, 6-1, not really satisfied with how she’s struggling with her service games. But her return serves and ground game are still better than ever. Good luck in your next match against Melanie.
P.S. Poor Sabine, she fell on match point. 🙁
And I heard Jelena’s grandmother passed away? My thoughts go out to her and her family.
Wow, I just read about JJ’s gradmother! I feel terrible for her, and would have pulled out immedielty since it is such a personal matter!
Recieve my condolencsence JJ!
All the best!
