Venus Williams is putting her tie dye and floral prints behind, moving on to stripes for this spring and the Sony Open Tennis in Miami. The champion will wear the EleVen Women’s Strisce Big Serve Stripe Dress featuring a subtle yellow high-waisted skirt, white top and black contours.
Venus’ message:
Look good, play well.
For the well-known reasons, the American wasn’t in Indian Wells to promote her EleVen fashion brand, though the clothes did get a nice exposure by Alisa Kleybanova, but she will make it up at the $5,427,105 tournament in Miami, where she will not only sport the new stripe collection, but also sell her clothes in the EleVen by Venus boutique. Very nice Venus, has a classic ‘Chris Evert’ late 70’s look about it.
Looks very chic and elegant Vee, soon as I saw it I love it.
Venus is getting better and better. She hasn’t had a fashion faux pas in a long time.
Liz, it is definitely similar, but the EleVen dress is more unique and even better. The cap sleeve version looks better than think straps. Plus the stripes add depth to the design.
Would it be weird to see a similarity between the white/yellow dress and the 2007 Nike AO dress?

But, I like the clothes she creates nowadays! Hope she keeps on the good work!
I totally agree! I used to have this high waist Nike dress.
Always a mess with the tiny crossed straps and the not too well supporting bra 😛
