After leaving the tennis world confused by not continuing her partnership with Nemanja Kontic, Ana Ivanovic announced a new coach, Dejan Petrovic, who is now on a trial period with the Serbian tennis star. The 36-year-old will accompany Ivanovic during the North American swing and their first tournament together will be the Bank of the West Classic which starts in a week.
According to the photo Ivanovic posted on Instagram yesterday, the two gave a powerful kick start to their cooperation.
Petrovic, who used to coach Novak Djokovic and Jelena Jankovic about ten years ago, was born in Australia and owns a tennis academy in Kragujevac, Serbia. His highest ranking was No.157 in singles and No.116 in doubles. (source: Ana Ivanovic’s official website)
