Belgian world No. 41 Yanina Wickmayer announced on Twitter today that she has officially become a Lotto athlete. Yanina had an excellent end of the season, winning the Japan Women’s Open Tennis in September and the inaugural Carslbad Classic in late November.

The Italian company’s most famous representative is Polish Agnieszka Radwanska, who joined the Lotto family in 2011 and whose extraordinary lace and shiny dresses rocked the tennis fashion scene this year. Other WTA players sponsored by Lotto include Ekaterina Makarova, Carla Suarez Navarro, Magdalena Rybarikova, Urszula Radwanska, Anna-Lena Groenefeld, Jana Cepelova, Varvara Lepchenko, and many others. Her great results this year pushed for the Lotto sponsorship. She’s a great addition to the Lotto family.
Emman Damian, I agree. I just wonder why Lotto hasn’t publicized this piece of news more. I saw no press release, nothing, just this photo of Yanina.
Hi Marija. Maybe they’ll release it early next year. I wonder who else will switch brands next year. Pretty interesting if they’ll have a major movements in Tennis fashion on 2016.
Emman Damian, I think Lotto realized how successful their fashion experiments have been, so I’m sure they will continue with them and I’m looking forward to 2016! When it comes to promotion, apparently they still have a lot to learn.
