As you know, Kvitova rallied to defeat Muguruza and clinch her second straight title with her 13th match win in a row, ensuring a return to the Top 10 in the WTA rankings.
Sunday also featured a women’s doubles final, in which Gabriela Dabrowski and Jelena Ostapenko defeated Andreja Klepac and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez 6-3 6-3.
