Wednesday at the BNP Paribas Open was all about two quarterfinal matches from the top half of the draw. As our Karen Helf reported in detail, world No.1 Simona Halep ended the run of Petra Martic and in the night session Naomi Osaka, whose big hair makes for a ton of amazing photos, upset fifth seed Karolina Pliskova.
