Just about two weeks after debuting the EleVen Hari collection at the BNP Paribas Open, Venus Williams launches the Goddess collection, an assortment of tops, skirts, warm-up pieces and accessories in a vibrant floral print combined with colors blue knights, baja blue and coral.
I actually first saw this collection in early February, as reader Phillip Alonzo pointed me to Venus’ interview for InStyle and in there we could see the Goddess Apex Tank, a white halter-neck design featuring side floral colorblocks, and the Goddess Moxie Leggings, featuring asymmetric see-through inserts.
The collection introduces an updated sports bra style, the Goddess Upright Sports Bra, a modern halter-neck design with power mesh side panels and an adjustable center back strap.
The model above is wearing the Goddess Aerate Tank, featuring floating contrast back bra liner detail, and the Outskirt Capri Blue Knights.
The collection’s wide range of tops also includes this Goddess Backup Cap Sleeve, featuring contrast swirl insets and back slits, and the Goddess Drill Tank, featuring a contrast band under bust. Both can be paired with the pleated coral Goddess Flutter Skirt.
What do you think about the Goddess collection? My favorites are halter-neck styles and tops with peculiar back designs. Interestingly, there are no dresses in this collection.
EleVen designs are equipped with EleVen Pro-Dri and EleVen Ozone technologies, providing maximum breathability and protection from harmful UV rays, in addition to four-way stretch. All the clothes are designed and manufactured in the USA.
Eleven designed shoes as well? How coms Venus never worn em on court?
Ian, they are just for the photoshoot, I’ve never seen EleVen shoes available for sale.
I think it’s a great collection, apart from the light blue top which is a bit shapeless. I specially like the white tops.
The Eleven shoes were sold back in the early days of Eleven when it was sold by Steve and Barry’s. Vee did wear them on court.
Eric, it was such a long time ago, thanks for reminding me. Venus has been wearing Nike shoes for years now and I haven’t come across EleVen shoes on their website.
