About a year after becoming engaged, Karolina Pliskova married her long-time partner Michal Hrdlicka and announced the news by posting this wedding photo on social media.

When I first learned about their relationship, I was far from impressed by Michal’s biography, so you may remember that I called him a bad boy and a womanizer because of his photos from a night out in Karlovy Vary and because he split with his girlfriend, his ten years older colleague from TV, just over a year after she gave birth to their daughter Linda, while about half a year later he was already publicly dating Pliskova.

Still, Pliskova certainly knows him better than what I can conclude from the headlines and now her caption for this wedding photo reads “The man of my life.” Pliskova’s career has continued to thrive since she’s been dating the guy, so I believe that he’s her true match.

Michal is often seen supporting Karolina at tournaments. The above photo is from the 2017 US Open, where they revealed that they had been engaged since Wimbledon that same year.

Here are more photos of Michal supporting Karolina recently.
