You’ve seen these for several months on top players like Sloane Stephens and Elina Svitolina. Now Nike has finally brought the Nike Court Air Zoom Zero to market. Svitolina and ATP pro Frances Tiafoe were chosen by the NikeCourt designers to test this shoe just prior to Miami earlier this year. Now it’s here, and this is the version in White/Crimson:

As the Tennis Warehouse rep notes in the following video, this is the first Nike tennis shoe with full Air Zoom cushioning.

I like this design a lot. You’ll get a nice, snug fit with the bootie construction one-piece mesh upper, which will, in TW’s words, provide a “locked-in” fit. The angled full-length Zoom Air unit will cushion you like never before – important for the pros who are in the hard court part of the season, and important for you on the local cement playground courts, too!

Purely from a design perspective, I like the name printed along the inside. Nike also mentions, “In honor of the host city for the year’s final Grand Slam tournament, the white and black colorways of the NikeCourt Air Zoom Zero feature “New York” signed in different languages, from the midsole up through the heel.”

No one writes PR-speak like Nike.
