Pops of fuchsia purple and orange peel offset by traditional navy mark Fila‘s Awning collection ready to be launched by world No.2 Ashleigh Barty and world No.5 Kiki Bertens at the 2019 US Open.
The first promo images show Australia’s Barty in the Fila Awning Jacket, a regular full-zip navy design with diagonal three-color stripes at sleeves, and the Awning A-line Skirt, a sporty classic.
Dutch Bertens is promoting the Awning Dress, featuring a colorblocked top and a navy skirt accented by fuchsia purple stripes on the sides.
The Fila Awning collection of tanks offers a variety of patterns and cuts, including the Cami Tank, the Colorblocked Tank and the Halter Tank — each of which are available in the collection’s primary colors.
The collection also includes a traditional Short Sleeve Top, available in both white and striped styles for more conservative coverage, Stripe Tank, Full Coverage Tank, Long-Sleeve Top, and super soft protection from the sun in the Fila Awning UV Blocker Long-Sleeve Top.
The tops mix and match with the Stripe Flare Skort, already-mentioned A-Line Skort and playful Pleated Skort, all of which incorporate an inside Forza Ball Short and COOLMAX Core Technology.
When it comes to footwear, Fila-sponsored WTA players will wear a specially-designed edition of the Axilus 2 Energized tennis shoes at the US Open. Their eye-catching orange peel / white / fuschia purple colorway complements the bold aesthetic of the Awning Collection.

I like these designs. They are modern and funky without being too over the top or distracting.
