Former Lotto representative Ekaterina Alexandrova opened the year 2020 in Fila apparel and the brand must be thrilled to have signed her, as the Russian keeps winning at the start of the new season, currently awaiting the Shenzhen Open final against Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan.
The world No.34 finished the 2019 season in fine form, winning the Open BLS de Limoges on indoor hard courts, and returned to the Tour in January to continue where she left off, beating Katerina Siniakova, Peng Shuai, Wang Qiang, and Garbine Muguruza to advance to the title match in Shenzhen.
Fila-sponsored players often have several collections to choose from and Alexandrova opted for the traditional Heritage line. At the Shenzhen Open she’s sporting the pinstriped Fall Heritage Halter Tank, featuring contrast trim at the neck and armholes, and the solid navy Fall Heritage Skirt, which also exists in white and pastel lilac.
At the upcoming Australian Open, Alexandrova is expected to show up in the Colorful Play collection that Fila revealed yesterday.
The last Lotto outfit the 25-year-old Alexandrova wore was this purple Fall Tech Top Ten Tank and Skirt.
Tomorrow’s Shenzhen Open final will start at 1 p.m. local time on Center Court.
