Petra Kvitova and Anastasija Sevastova will battle in the second final at the Bett1 Aces exhibition, at a unique location of the iconic Berlin Tempelhof Airport hangar.
After a runner-up finish in the first leg of the competition, Petra Kvitova returned to the extravagant hard court with airplanes in the backdrop and brought it all against Andrea Petkovic to win the first women’s semifinal 3-6 6-4 10-5 on Saturday.
Anastasija Sevastova then joined Kvitova in the title match by racing past Elina Svitolina, the winner of the first part of the competition, 6-1 6-1 in just 48 minutes.
Commenting on the upcoming Sunday’s final, Sevastova said: “I have to play my best and I have to mix it up.”
