American Amanda Anisimova went public with new boyfriend Tyler Roos. The WTA world No.30 posted on Instagram photos of them hugging while enjoying relaxing time in the south of France.
So who is the guy that stole the young tennis star’s heart? Tyler Roos is a 24-year-old Australian. He’s an athlete and model, while his LinkedIn bio states that he has keen interest in marketing and advertising.
Tyler has a football career that includes being a Southport midfielder and he also worked as a football coach. Tyler also starred in The Amazing Race Australia 4, teamed up with fellow footy player Tom Wilkinson.
The Australian has also worked as a waiter, then in retail sales at New Balance for a year, and as a brand ambassador for XPO Brands creative agency.
Another interesting thing is that Tyler’s father is Australian Football Hall of Fame inductee Paul Roos.
We don’t know how long Amanda and Tyler have been a couple, but they started sharing the photos of them together this month.
After training for a week at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy on the French Riviera, the 19-year-old Amanda is heading to Ostrava, Czech Republic, where she’ll play the J&T Banka Ostrava Open, a new tournament on the WTA calendar. Judging by Tyler’s Instagram story, he’s traveling in Turkey now.
