Adidas will make impact at the 2022 French Open with a range of simple black and white designs. At first glance, the collection seems to feature tribal patterns, but the graphics are actually inspired by Parisian plants and nature.
World No.5 Maria Sakkari presents the Adidas Paris Wow Dress, a crew-neck, sleeveless design featuring a bold print that nods to exotic plants in the greenhouses surrounding the Grand Slam tournament stadium.
The silhouette features side slits and an elongated back. Separate ball shorts have Alphaskin for an adaptive fit that wraps your body for comfort.
The Adidas Paris Y-Dress features cutouts inspired by the botanical gardens that surround the Roland Garros venue. The dress includes Y-shaped back, built-in bra and separate tights.
The HEAT.RDY technology and soft fabric make these new Adidas dresses super comfortable to wear. What makes the material even more appealing is that it is made from minimum 40% recycled content.
The Adidas Paris Y-Tank is another cooling, eco-friendly item in this new collection. Besides the black and white version, the top also comes in pulse aqua, with the eye-catching print on the back. The Adidas Paris Match Skirt features subtle botanical-inspired graphics on the sides.
The Adidas Paris Long-Sleeve Top features a contrast company logo on center chest and celebrates the diversity of the planet along the back. Just like all the pieces in this collection, this top is made using Parley Ocean Plastic materials in an effort to end plastic waste.

…oh dear, it’s a big no from me
They should really fired the PIC of the creative team from Adidas Tennis, they have been failing on the design for the past 2-3 seasoms, too much recycled materials (om the design).
I like them. They are graphically interesting and don’t have too much fussy detail. However I’m a bit sick of black. It doesn’t suit all players and can look pretty full on the court. Must be hot too.
