Sixteen months after discontinuing the WTA/ATP Live Score App, tennis fans can celebrate the return of this all-in-one mobile application.
As if the pandemic dominated 2020 wasn’t bad enough for tennis, in December that year it was announced that the WTA/ATP Live Score App was being shut down due to some changes made to the data feed. The app was no longer able to support the technical requirements of both the ATP and WTA. The ATP promptly offered a solution in the form of their own mobile app, while the WTA provided their own iOS and Android app a few months later, in April 2021.
Now we have good news! The governing bodies of women’s and men’s tennis have once again joined forces and launched a new mobile app that offers the latest scores, draws, rankings, highlights, stats, news and more from across both Tours. Users can fully customize their experience around their favourite players and tournaments. This is the latest in a series of strategic collaborations to unify the fan experience and storytelling across the WTA and ATP.
