Monica Puig married her long-time partner Nathan Rakitt on Friday in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The 2016 Olympic gold medalist Puig was glowing in a strapless wedding gown designed by Harry Robles. The dress features a tiered fringe skirt with an ombre effect.

A day before the ceremony, the WTA star from Puerto Rico wore a simple white dress and posted a photo with her future husband, saying:
We have reached the end of the countdown! I can’t believe I get to marry this amazing man tomorrow! Nathan, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you and continue to grow by your side! Ready to jump?!
A light rain was falling during almost the entire ceremony taking place on the beach of the Caribe Hilton Hotel, but it turned out to be a blessing as the couple now has wonderful rainbow photos from their seaside wedding.
Monica Puig and Nathan Rakkit got engaged in October last year. At the time, drinking her morning coffee, Monica gave us a close-up of her engagement ring and with a wide smile on her face said: “Acting totally different this morning.”
Monica and Nathan share a home in Atlanta, where they met 15 years ago at a tennis camp. During the wedding ceremony, the bride mentioned that 13 years later met again and have stayed together ever since.
