Naomi Osaka is well into her pregnancy and knows her baby’s gender, but the tennis star will keep the information a secret even from her partner and will thus not hold a gender reveal party.
The 25-year-old Osaka told People Magazine at an event in West Hollywood on Tuesday that it was her boyfriend Cordae’s wish to find out the baby’s gender upon birth. The four-time Grand Slam champion is thus keeping it a secret for the rest of the world as well and is very careful that her shopping for the baby doesn’t reveal too much.

The former world No.1 has recently launched her own lingerie collection with Victoria’s Secret. Those comfy boyfriend shirt dresses and rompers have been her go-to clothing in pregnancy, since they can be worn as loungewear, pyjamas, beachwear, or for casual days out.
Osaka has been in a long-term relationship with rapper Cordae. They made their relationship Instagram official in September 2019. When Osaka announced pregnancy in January, a few days after withdrawing from the Australian Open without citing a clear reason, the WTA player said that she plans to return to the sport at the start of the 2024 season.
