Belgian tennis player Alison van Uytvanck married her girlfriend Emilie Vermeiren during the Wimbledon finals weekend. The wedding was expected, given that the couple had already enjoyed a pre-honeymoon last month.

Sharing a photo from the wedding ceremony, the WTA player said:
Finally being able to call you my wife is a wish that came true. It was a perfect day celebrating with our family and friends. We all love you! Mrs&Mrs Van Uytvanck – Vermeiren
It was during last year’s Roland Garros that Alison and Emilie took a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower, making their relationship Instagram official. This public announcement came several months after Alison ended her long-term relationship with fellow WTA player Greet Minnen, to whom she had been engaged since December 2020.
