The WTA wedding boom shows no signs of slowing down. After several tennis players, including Katie Boulter, Daria Kasatkina, Liudmila Samsonova, and Bernarda Pera celebrated their big days, Asia Muhammad has also joined the growing list of newlyweds.

Doubles standout Asia Muhammad married her fiancé James Cross on July 18 in Vancouver, surrounded by family, friends, and several familiar faces from the tennis world.

The 35-year-old Muhammad first announced her engagement in September 2025, sharing the happy news on Instagram with a glowing selfie from Kentucky Alleyne Provincial Park. The American player proudly displayed her engagement ring alongside Cross, joking in the caption:

“When the engagement makes it out of the group chat!!!”

The wedding brought together a number of WTA stars, with Genie Bouchard, Desirae Krawczyk, Alexa Guarachi Bruner, Naomi Broady, Jessica Pegula, and Jennifer Brady among those celebrating the special occasion with the newlyweds.
