This is how Ana Ivanovic would look if she played the 2019 Australian Open

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ana Ivanovic in a tennis outfit and thanks to her life-long contract with Adidas we had the pleasure of watching the retired WTA star hit in a drained Bondi Icebergs Pool in Sydney.

Promoting Adidas’ Melbourne 2019 gear created in collaboration with Parley and the collection’s eco-conscious story, Ivanovic played an exhibition match on January 10th, wearing the Adidas Spring Parley Tank Top and Parley Skirt.

This outfit will be worn by defending champion Caroline Wozniacki at the upcoming Australian Open. There’s also the Adidas Spring Parley Dress, to be sported by Garbine Muguruza and Kristina Mladenovic.

I’ve already written quite a bit about the Adidas x Parley collection, but I’ll repeat here that the new clothes are unique because they include recycled material, i.e. Parley Ocean Plastic™. The promo slogan is “From threat into thread”, since the outfits have reduced the number of plastic bottles that endanger our waters.

Backstage, Ana was accompanied by her husband Bastian Schweinsteiger, with whom she’s recently had an iconic Vogue photoshoot, also on a beach, but in Mallorca.
