Nicole Vaidisova and Radek Stepanek welcomed their second child, a daughter named Meda.
“On December 16th we received the most incredible Christmas present we could ever ask for… Welcome to our family, Meda,” the former world No.7 Vaidisova wrote as a caption to an Instagram photo showing her newborn. Retired ATP star Radek Stepanek posted the same black-and-white baby photo on his Instagram account.

The baby’s arrival is not a surprise to the tennis community, as Vaidisova announced her pregnancy in late September, saying: “Here we go again… Team Stepanek adding another team member soon.”
The tennis couple’s first child is a girl named Stella, who is now three and a half years old.
The relationship between Vaidisova and Stepanek is probably the most interesting in the tennis world. After dating for less than three years, they got married in 2010, a few months after Vaidisova prematurely ended her career as one of the brightest rising stars of the time.
Vaidisova was just 21 years old and Stepanek was 31 when they got married. Three years later they divorced and Stepanek started dating WTA player Petra Kvitova, while Vaidisova also had other boyfriends.
In early 2016, Stepanek revealed that his love with his ex-wife had rekindled, but the relationship was not really publicized. Then, in March 2018, they surprised everyone by announcing that they were becoming parents. In May 2018, they married again.
