Move over, boring tennis outfits, because Naomi Osaka is teaming up with Nike to drop a fashion bomb that’s bound to make the 2024 Australian Open a runway. Shortly before her first-round clash against Caroline Garcia, the former world No.1 dazzles Instagram with the grand reveal of her latest custom tennis dress.
This predominantly black high-neck masterpiece is turning heads with what seem to be snake skin print insets at the chest and skirt. Fashion meets fierceness, and we’re here for it! A bold, contrasting white wavy line dances its way down, injecting a pop of additional excitement into the sleeveless design. We’re guessing there are probably more intriguing details at the back, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Naomi isn’t just acing it with the dress; she’s got a trendy sidepart and a long braid cascading over one shoulder. Talk about a Grand Slam in the style department!
“Yesterday I found new purpose in tomorrow. Today, I’m stronger,” wrote Nike and Naomi as they unveiled the photos on social media.

Didnt Nike do a serpent print for 2015 US Open collection, plus black dominant color for under AO sun looks suffocating to me..
Its not really a hit for me
This looks better for USO night matches.
Yessss this is what we needed- a unique dress which will create a little buzz, worn by a high profile player.
I’m not a snakeskin fan, but I love the shots and think Naomi looks fantastic here.
I wonder if she will have a day dress? Regardless, this is absolutely what tennis fashion has been missing.
Ian, you have excellent memory! Yes, Serena wore some sort of a serpent print in New York in 2015, but it was not this iridescent. I agree that it would’ve been a better fit for the US Open, but still it was exciting to see a fierce custom look for Naomi’s comeback and also she wore it during the night session so it was a good choice.
Karo, it turns out there was no need for a day dress…
Fantastic dress! I LOVE IT! Nike made a good job finally.
