Both incredible matches! Villiams/Kvitova was the best of the tournaments so far (I think). Too bad someone had to lose these ladies are both so inspiring and such tremendous tennis players.
Agree! A pity these two had to meet each other already in semifinals.
Coco Vandeweghe has joined them. Now it is up to Madison to make it a foursome of Americans.
Petra/Venus match deserved to be a final.
Yeah, that Petra/Venus match was simply amazing! Venus is really looking like old-school Venus these days. It’s thrilling to see her compete against these younger players and play with such confidence and success. If she keeps playing the way she presently is, I can see her coming out as the champ, if she makes it to the final. Sorry for Petra, but so happy for Venus! “On to the final, Venus! Living Legend!”
Petra/Venus match was epic! Sloane was also on fire!
