Sunday’s women’s final at the BNP Paribas Open will feature Bianca Andreescu, the 18-year-old Canadian who pretty much came out of nowhere to become the first ever wildcard to go this far at Indian Wells, and three-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber, who has never before played the title match at this desert tournament.
In Friday’s semis, Andreescu overcame Elina Svitolina, while Kerber stopped Belinda Bencic, as you could read in the detailed report of our Karen Helf. As always, photographer Jimmie48 was on the spot to bring us the best photos.
