Gel-Cool technology continues to be the pillar of Asics‘ tennis apparel, as we can see in the latest outfits created for the 2019 US Open appearances of Julia Goerges, Zhang Shuai and other tennis players sponsored by the Japanese multinational corporation.
The Fall collection’s standout piece is the Gel-Cool Dress, which includes Asics’ active cooling technology for accelerated ventilation and improved sweat management, further enhanced by mesh inserts and open back construction. The sleeveless racerback design and 4-way stretch knit fabric ensure comfortable movement. A coordinating ball shortie is attached to the dress.
The US Open apparel also includes the Gel-Cool Tank Top and Tennis Skort, so Asics-sponsored players will choose between the separates and the dress.
When it comes to footwear, Goerges will wear the Solution Speed FF model, while Zhang will sport the Gel-Resolution 7.
Goerges was already spotted at the US Open on Wednesday — training ahead of the season’s final major, the German wore the Asics Fall Practice Tank.
The new Asics collection is available at both Tennis Warehouse USA and Tennis Warehouse Europe.

Did you mean ZHANG SHUAI ?
It’s Zhang Shuai!
I think Peng Shuai is sponsored by adidas..
Des, Ian, you’re right guys. I made the mistake, even though Asics’ email to me clearly said “Zhang Shuai” and I even selected the category “Zhang Shuai” on my blog … Everything is corrected now. Thank you very much!
Out of context, do you know why Stella won’t design for slams anymore?
Melxir, are you even sure that she won’t design for slams anymore?
Then why she didn’t design for Melbourne, Paris and New York? I’ve read a lot of tweets that she’s gone forever and Wimbledon was just an exception
Melxir, I also read it, but I haven’t seen any official statement, so I don’t know. Wimbledon may have been just an exception and there might as well be another one.
