Yesterday I showed you Adidas separates ready for Caroline Wozniacki’s Australian Open title defense and now it’s time to present Kristina Mladenovic‘s and Garbine Muguruza‘s dress from the same Adidas x Parley collection.
This high-performance dress is made from soft, sweat-wicking Climalite fabric. What makes this new collection stand out from the crowd is that it is created with yarn made in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, i.e. it features material made from recycled waste. Shorts are integrated in the design.
The dress’ color scheme, gradient shades of blue, celebrates oceans, while it is also a palette that has traditionally worked well at the Australian Open, just like yellow tones.
The shoes listed as Muguruza’s and Mladenovic’s choice are the SoleCourt Boost model.
What do you think about this new, eco-friendly collection? Do you prefer Caro’s separates or this dress?

Not one of their better efforts. The style of the dress is ok but the print is kind of messy/blah and the colours are not very interesting.
CLT, from what I can see now, I prefer the separates to the dress. I like the blue color scheme, it’s always perfect for the AO. The ombre effect doesn’t look spectacular on the dress, though.
So i guess no one will wear stella gear in Melbourne
Melxir, last year the situation was the same, remember that Wozniacki wore Stella only in the beginning and then switched to the jumpsuit. https://womenstennisblog.com/2018/01/26/australian-open-wta-fashion/
Marija, Adidastennis responds to someone in instagram that there won’t be a stella collection for the Australian open
Melxir, thanks for the info! As I said, unintentionally, last year we had pretty much the same situation.
I love the parley dress. Just bought one for myself, extremely comfortable and perfect fit. Can’t wait to get out on the court and have a hit in it. Sometimes shorts with dresses don’t fit well, but these do…highly recommend.
