Every few weeks Venus Williams and EleVen release a new tennis collection, but we haven’t seen them all in action on the WTA Tour because the American played just nine tournaments in the 2021 season. Still, the tennis player with a successful activewear business has an important place among tennis fashion icons, so we’re continuing to include her in our Fashion Retrospections.

Playing the Yarra Valley Classic at Melbourne Park, Williams introduced the Forest Star collection, which combines bold zebra prints with solid pops of illusion jacquard in deep blue, mint and black. The seven-time Grand Slam champion rocked black zebra separates and white K-Swiss tennis shoes.
At the Australian Open, the American WTA legend continued to wear the Forest Star clothes: the EleVen Queen Skater Dress, the EleVen Forest Zebra Race Day Tank and Fly 13″ Skirt.

The 41-year-old turned heads with a bold new look at the Miami Open. Debuting her I am Wonder Woman collection, Williams accessorized the edgy, star-printed attire with bright blue braided space buns. She picked the gold-accented Champion Razor Tank and the Champion Flutter Skirt, her favorite look from the superhero-inspired collection. K-Swiss was her footwear of choice.
Williams spiced up the spring with the In the Curves range. It introduced a snake skin print in a sunny coral, cloud blue and black colorway. In Madrid, the tennis legend sported the long-sleeved Sun Bliss Top and Sun Bliss 13″ Skirt.

In singles competition at Wimbledon, Williams opted for a pure white outfit consisting of the EleVen Love to Love Top, a short-sleeve ribbed construction with side slits, an asymmetric wrap design skirt, and a basic white visor.
Playing mixed doubles with Nick Kyrgios in London, Williams spiced things up with her iridescent collection seen in Paris, more specifically the Glow Up Venus Starr Dress which features a V-neck cut with ruching detail at center chest.
The last tournament Williams played in 2021 was the WTA Chicago Women’s Open in late August. There V debuted the Halter Cross Back Tennis Dress from EleVen’s collaboration with Carbon 38. The color of the dress is sky aqua. The design features cross-back straps.
At the Chicago tournament, Williams hosted a kids clinic. For the occasion, the former world No.1 chose her Legacy collection, the EleVen Legacy Off To The Races Long Sleeve Top and EleVen Legacy Diagonal Flutter Skirt.
As mentioned in the introduction, Williams launched many collections during the 2021 season, although not all of them hit the courts. The most notable one that hasn’t been worn on the WTA Tour is probably the King Richard collection, that honors Venus’ father and his road to success with his daughters.
